Foals are born at this time, we already have several foals by Plenty O Paddys Lena and Two Timin Shiner in rapid City, SD, an a few to Dualin With Cows in north east Wyoming. We are waiting for a sunny day to visit the foals and take pictures - please bear with us!
Once I got to take picture I will foals are born, and the first ones are ready to be weaned and picked up. Due to a busy summer season we did not get around to update pictures very often, however, we do have plenty stored away - if you are interested in a certain foal please let us know.
Of our 2014 babies nineteen are under contract, two will stay at the ranch to replace older broodmares, and one was lost due to a pasture accident. Two foals are still available for purchase, and they are far from being the "left overs"! Please take a special look at Tyrees Playboy Lexas' virtually fearless filly.

We sell foals with a 50% deposit, they can stay with the dam until end of October of their foaling year or until at least 4 month old. We can winter foals for the new owner for $75/month boarding fee, $120/month would include halter training and daily handling. Please refer to Terms & Conditions for more information regarding deposits, boarding and travel papers. All foals come with an application or certificate for registration unless otherwise noted.
Shipping: We can not deliver horses, but if you are interested in estimated shipping costs we recommend the website uShip.com that offers shipping services. In average you are looking at $0.75 per loaded mile for a distance above 500 miles, and about $1.00 for a distance less than 500 miles, with a licensed shipping company.

Dualin With Cows - 2002 AQHA stallion - Reference Sire

Dualin is the result of a breeding program that put the top cutting sires together in this one-of-a-kind stallion. Peppy San Badger, Doc's Hickory, Freckles Playboy and Smooth Herman build the third generation on his papers, bred to daughters of Docs Remedy, Kings Pistol, Doc Bar and Two Eyed Jack.
Despite all this high power in his blood he is a very easy to handle stud, a breeze to train with a willing attitude and friendly disposition. After a summer out on pasture with the mares he goes right back to work at the ranch.
Dualin was not shown due to our focus on raising cattle with the help of great horses.
We use several of his offspring at the ranch, they've been very mellow, easy to train young horses.
Our own experience and the one of the buyers have a lot in common: they describe their young horses as calm, smart, very trainable and quick on their feet.

Gold Lacy Poco's 2015 AQHA buckskin filly

Gold Lacy Poco's foals are always super friendly, and the prettiest foals to boot. If her foal would have been a stud colt it would not be for sale - this foal was the one I personally wanted to keep for myself, after I saw Gold Lacy Poco's former foals develop into the most beautiful horses, straight legged, thick muscled, with the sweetest dispositions one could wish for. Alas - it's a filly, and she is for sale at this time. There is a chance, though, that I do chnage my mind and go for her anyway ...

Ame Go Red Glos's - 2015 AQHA foal

This is the fourth year we bred our best broodmare "Tempesta" to our cutting bred stud Dualin With Cows. Her thickness and stamina paired with his cowsense and quickness gave us a beautiful, heavy muscled filly in 2011, and her 2012 and 2013 fillie's sure look like a halter prospects with a cow working future too!
So far this cross gave us only bays, but she could have a chestnut or sorrel foal as well.

Watch for Friday's foal - 2015 AQHA bay filly

This mare with Zan Parr Bar, Tyress Watch and Poco Bueno Image on her papers had great foals for us. Several of her fillies stayed at the ranch and will join our brood mare band in the future. This years filly is by our cutting bred stallion Dualin With Cows, a cross that has all the breeding to become competitive in any cow horse event. Very nice put together bay filly with only a little bit of white on her right hind pastern.

Della Sabre Glo's foal - 2015 AQHA

Della is one of our ranch horses we used hard for many years. She is cowy and athletic, yet has a gentle enough disposition to use for kids chasing cattle around.
She doesn't look her age (20 years old) and has many years as a brood mare left to pass on her great work ethic.
Paired with our heavily cutting bred stallion her babies are promising prospects for ranch and arena.
Her 2014 filly is as solid as they come - no white hair on her. If ever there was a hunter prospect - this filly is it. She stays at the ranch and grew up to an exceptional elegant yearling.

Amanda is one of our ranch horses we used hard for many years. She is fast, quick, and athletic, yet has a very fine handle on her.

Frosty Della's foal

This foal will not be eligible for registration with AQHA because it's mom was not registered, she is by our Frosty Feature stallion Dorky Frosty Spark and out of a AQHA registered saddle horse, a big stout mare we use for cowboys and little kids as well.
Frosty Della One has produced outstanding foals for us, thus we breed her even without papers for good using horses.

Plenty O Paddys Lena - 2000 AQHA stallion - Reference Sire

Plenty O Paddys Lena is a son of Paddys Irish Whiskey (Peppy San Badger) out of a daughter of Doc O Dynamite.
He is very easy going yet athletic and passes this on to his offspring. He also is the tallest of our stallions standing almost 16 hands.
We use several of his offspring at the ranch, they are very cowy with a light handle on them, smooth gated, and last, but not least, very pretty.

This cross - Plentofbarlady with our Paddys Irish Whiskey son Plenty O Paddy Lena - has been so successful that we keep these two together.
Her 2006 stud colt was kept as a breeding stud.
Also her 2007 filly stayed at the ranch for breeding.
The 2009 filly was the tallest yearling at the ranch, and her 2010 stud colt was the first one sold of his year.
If she has a buckskin stud colt in 2015 it is already spoken for.

Dorkyfrostygolden is by our own son of Frosty Feature who gives his offspring stamina, strong legs and quite some size. Paired with our Paddys Irish Whiskey stud, who stands himself well above 15.2 hands, we expect a foal with the size to rope bulls but also the cow sense to sort pairs or rate a steer.

Two Timin Shiner - 2010 AQHA stallion - Reference Sire

Two Timin Shiner is the result of a breeding program that put the top cutting sires together in this one-of-a-kind stallion. Peppy San Badger, Smart Little Lena, Geniune Doc, and Zan Parr Bar build the third generation on his papers, bred to daughters of Boon Bar, Jose Uno, Mr Diamond Dude, and Two Eyed Jack.
His sire is the 2012 NRCHA #2 Leading Sire and #3 Leading NCHA Sire, siring the earners of $5,888,580+ as of 2/6/2014.
His dam, Sue C Shiner, showed successful in Reined Cow Horse and Team Roping and became the 2008 AQHA Reserve World Champion Senior Horse, Superior Heading & Heeling, and earned 710 AQHA points, LTE: $22,850.

Shiner proved himself as very quick, athletic, and cowy in cutting training with Kenny and Dana Ingalls of Ingalls Cutting Horses, Wyoming (former Nebraska), and additional training with Ricky Nicolazzi of Pira's Cows and Horses in California. He was not shown due to a pasture accident which left one of his front pasterns susceptible to pressure.

Feedbacks of this colts full brother (2009) and full sister (2008) coming in - the only thing these horses can not do seem to be to make a pot of coffee. Friendly, mellow, quick, cowy, easy going - all someone could ask for in a horse.
We consider Tee Bar Jeep our best broodmare who throws stout, well build horses. Many of her daughters can be found in our broodmare band. Dualin With Cows puts his quickness, cowyness and very mellow disposition in the cross.

The combination of our roan mare "Roxanne" with our Peppy San Badger and Freckles Playboy bred stud never fails to produce an outstanding foal. They are beauties with elegance, alertness and charisma, heavy muscled and fine heads. That her foals, so far, always have been roans doesn't hurt either.

Catalena Freckles' foal - 2015 AQHA

Catalena Freckles is broke to ride and was used on the ranch before she joined the broodmare band. She was very easy to train, smart, quick and cowy.
Her first foal by Dualin With Cows (a 2008 stud colt) was very easy to start under saddle and will mature into a great cow horse.
This foal will most likely be bay or bay roan, slim chance of chestnut/sorrel or red roan.

Cowgurl Up Smartie's foal - 2015 AQHA

This colt should be very athletic and quick. His dam competed in Ranch Horse competitions. She is a very friendly, people loving mare. She is not suitable for novice riders due to her being extremely sensitive to cues. Thus I would not recommend her colt for a family-trailhorse prospect but rather see him going to a cowboy who appreciates a quick, cowy horse, or into cow horse competition.
Her 2015 foal is already spoken for.

Plentyofit Glo Docs' foal - 2015 AQHA

This mare, Plentyofit Glo Docs, is the offspring of one of the most successful crosses at the ranch. Her full brothers and sisters usually do not leave the ranch, they are very fast, quick, cowy and yet dependable with smooth gates.
