Dualin With
Cows - 2002 AQHA stallion - Reference Sire
 |
Dualin is the result of
a breeding program that put the top cutting sires together in this one-of-a-kind
stallion. Peppy San Badger, Doc's Hickory, Freckles Playboy and Smooth
Herman build the third generation on his papers, bred to daughters of Docs
Remedy, Kings Pistol, Doc Bar and Two Eyed Jack.
Despite all this high power
in his blood he is a very easy to handle stud, a breeze to train with a
willing attitude and friendly disposition. After a summer out on pasture
with the mares he goes right back to work at the ranch.
Dualin was not shown due
to our focus on raising cattle with the help of great horses.
We use several of his offspring
at the ranch, they've been very mellow, easy to train young horses.
Our own experience and the
one of the buyers have a lot in common: they describe their young horses
as calm, smart, very trainable and quick on their feet.

This mare with Zan Parr
Bar, Tyress Watch and Poco Bueno Image on her papers had great foals for
us. Her 2010 stud colt was the first pick in his year, and we kept her
2009 filly - best filly of that year. Also her 2011 filly will join our
broodmare band when she is grown. This years foal will be by our cutting
bred stallion Dualin With Cows, this will be a cross that has all the breeding
to become competitive in any cow horse event.

This foal will not be eligible
for registration with AQHA because it's mom was not registered, she is
by our Frosty Feature stallion Dorky Frosty Spark and out of a AQHA registered
saddle horse, a big stout mare we use for cowboys and little kids as well.
Frosty Della One has produced
outstanding foals for us, thus we breed her even without papers for good
using horses.

Plenty O Paddys Lena is
a son of Paddys Irish Whiskey (Peppy San Badger) out of a daughter of Doc
O Dynamite.
He is very easy going yet
athletic and passes this on to his offspring. He also is the tallest of
our stallions standing almost 16 hands.
We use several of his offspring
at the ranch, they are very cowy with a light handle on them, smooth gated,
and last, but not least, very pretty.

Dorkyfrostygolden is by
our own son of Frosty Feature who gives his offspring stamina, strong legs
and quite some size. Paired with our Paddys Irish Whiskey stud, who stands
himself well above 15.2 hands, we expect a foal with the size to rope bulls
but also the cow sense to sort pairs or rate a steer.
We kept her 2015 stud colt
for ourselves after we regreted deeply to have sold her 2012 filly and
didn't breed her for the following two years. No decision made yet if her
2016 foal will be for sale.

with our Paddys Irish Whiskey son Plenty O Paddy Lena - has been so successful
that we keep these two together.
Her 2006 stud colt was kept
as a breeding stud.
Also her 2007 filly stayed
at the ranch for breeding.
The 2009 filly was the tallest
yearling at the ranch, and her 2010 stud colt was the first one sold of
his year. Every single one of her foals was as pretty and stout as can
be.

Two Timin Shiner is the
result of a breeding program that put the top cutting sires together in
this one-of-a-kind stallion. Peppy San Badger, Smart Little Lena, Geniune
Doc, and Zan Parr Bar build the third generation on his papers, bred to
daughters of Boon Bar, Jose Uno, Mr Diamond Dude, and Two Eyed Jack.
His sire is the 2014 NRCHA
#1 Leading Sire and NCHA #5 Leading Sire, siring the earners of $10,000,000+
(as of 11/1/2015).
His dam, Sue C Shiner, showed
successful in Reined Cow Horse and Team Roping and became the 2008 AQHA
Reserve World Champion Senior Horse, Superior Heading & Heeling, and
earned 710 AQHA points, LTE: $22,850.
Shiner proved himself as
very quick, athletic, and cowy in cutting training with Kenny and Dana
Ingalls of Ingalls Cutting Horses, Wyoming (former Nebraska), and additional
training with Ricky Nicolazzi of Pira's Cows and Horses in California.
He was not shown due to a pasture accident which left one of his front
pasterns susceptible to pressure.

This is the first year we
bred our best broodmare "Tempesta" to our cutting bred stud Two Timin Shiner.
Her thickness and stamina paired with his cowsense and quickness should
give us a beautiful, heavy muscled foal like her former foals by Dualin
With Cows, all looked like halter prospects with a cow working future too!
So far Tempesta produced

This colt should be very
athletic and quick. His dam competed in Ranch Horse competitions. She is
a very friendly, people loving mare. She is not suitable for novice riders
due to her being extremely sensitive to cues. Thus I would not recommend
her colt for a family-trailhorse prospect but rather see him going to a
cowboy who appreciates a quick, cowy horse, or into cow horse competition.
