Freno was broke to ride as a 3yr old on a ranch in Colorado. Since then he has been ridden off and on due to time constraints of the owners, thus he is not finished in any direction but easy to handle under saddle and used to be out in rough country.

Freno is very well build, he is a strong and smart horse, friendly and easy to work with - he wants to please and is rock solid on the things he once learned and understood. He is comfortable gaited and not spooky outside. All together he is more on the laid back side and will, with more experience, eventually make a great mount for less experienced or less confident riders.

Freno is not currently registered with APHA, but the application is signed by sire and dam owner at time of breeding. APHA offers a special with reduced registration fees for older horses ($100 plus $15 transfer), however, AQHA informed me that the stallionowner did not file a stud report, thus making it very complicated to get Freno registered.
